The Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCM-USSH) boasts a 60-year history of establishment and growth.
Currently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has more than 890 faculty members and non-teaching staff, 16,000 students enrolled in 57 undergraduate programs, 43 postgraduate programs and over 10 joint programs in collaboration with international partners.
The University is one of the two biggest institutions in the field of social sciences and humanities such as Vietnamese Studies, Oriental Studies, Anthropology, International Relations, Urban Studies, Spanish Linguistics and Literature, Italian Linguistics and Literature, and so on. In addition, the University is the leading institution nationwide in having over 200 registered international students across the world, e.g. Japan, Korea, ,Cambodia, the United States, Singapore, Austria, Turkey, Thailand, Australia, in degree programs and over 5,500 students enrolled in short-term courses.
Center for Career Orientation and Human Resources Development (CaCe), previously known as Center for Career Orientation and Enterprise Relations was established under Decision No.29/QĐ-TCHC of the President of HCM-USSH. With the aim of accomplishing students ‘s requirements, the center was renamed as Center for Career Orientation and Human Resources Development according to the Decision No.59/ QĐ –TCHC on March 23th 2009. The Center is an independent unit of the University, which specializes in career consulting and orientation, skills training as well as enterprises relation.
The CaCe provides a wide range of services for USSH students, including Career Guidance/Counseling, Internships, Job Portal, Recruitment Support for Enterprises, Job Fairs, Career Day, Training Soft-skills.
